Australia Awards South and West Asia

This year, Australia and Bangladesh are celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations and education remains a mutual priority between the two countries. In the last 50 years, Australia Awards has contributed to the strong people-to-people and education links between Australia and Bangladesh.

More than 3,000 Bangladeshis have received Australia Awards Scholarships. Upon completing their Australian education, these alumni are contributing to Bangladesh’s economic growth, sustainable development and fiscal reforms through demonstrating technical and thematic expertise in their respective fields.
